Earning your Open Water Diver Certification is an accomplishment to be proud of. But it is also just the first of many dive training steps you can take.

Specialty courses exist for just about any dive related topic you can think of, but they have several things in common:

  • They give you more in depth knowledge about the topics that interest you most.
  • They give you more time with an instructor who is keen to share their knowledge.
  • They lead to your becoming a more confident and therefore more competent diver.

Listed below are the PADI Specialties offered by the Instructors at Go West Diving. Specialties vary in price depending on the number of days involved, with one or two days being the norm, and whether the dives involve shore diving or boat diving.

Our most popular specialties are:

  • Curacao Coral Reef Conservation
  • Invasive Lion Fish Diver
  • Nitrox Diver
  • Deep Diver
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver

Curacao Coral Reef Conservation

**soon to be launched!!**
Seeing the quality of the reef go down is an heart-breaking experience. However, actively learning how we can un-do human damage and grow, clean and maintain corals in a nursery up to the point they’re ready to be planted is one of the best thing a diver can do. This specialty is set-up in collaboration with Reef Renewal Curacao  , the organization behind the nursery’s on island. From every specialty, a donation directly goes to the foundation.

Nitrox Diver

More Oxygen = Less Nitrogen. Extend your No-Decompression-Limit to dive with Enriched Air (Eanx). Take this half day dry specialty with us and enjoy a lifetime of allowance to dive with Nitrox. You will also get 2 free Nitrox tanks to put your theory to practise. Some of the benefits are: more bottom time, shorter surface interval and less fatigue.
