PADI Coral Restoration Course

**NEW COURSE IN 2026**
Participate in Restoring the magnificent Alice in Wonderland reef at Playa Kalki. Supported by Reef Renewal Curacao we are proud to have our own Coral Nursery that needs your help. During this 1 day specialty you learn how we can grow & maintain corals and get them ready for successful outplanting. This course includes a certification that allows for future free participation in projects all over island, as well as a 40$ donation to Reef Renewal Curacao (visit this link for more info on this organisation)
In order to participate in this specialty, every diver must be at least:
- Open Water Diver
- In good physical health – you will need to complete the PADI Medical Statement
- In control of their buoyancy
- An advocate for protecting our reefs and improve diving conditions on Curacao!
The course consists of a total of 2 dives (1 full day) that will be conducted on our House Reef Alice in Wonderland. Both sessions start with an elaborate theory session / presentation, as well as dry practice on hanging up corals in the nursery and outplanting them on the reef. There is no online preparation needed. After the course you will receive a PADI specialty certification.
The course includes:
- 40$ Donation to Reef Renewal Curacao
- PADI specialty Certification
- All rental and Coral maintenance equipment (including Full set when needed)
- Coffee, tea, water, lockers along with our other facilities
- Oxygen and First aid kit on side
